Hi, I’m Janelle Montgomery!
Four years ago, my life changed forever when I welcomed my first child into the world. My birth experience gave me a lot to think about, and when I had my second child three years later, I knew things needed to change for me to have my ideal birth. My Doula helped me feel prepared, confident, and joyous throughout my second birth. And now, I am ready to be that advocate and partner for your family.
With a professional career spanning eight years in various parts of the healthcare industry, I’ve built a diverse set of skills that are backed by education, training, and real experience. My journey as a Doula is a culmination of my long-standing passion for maternal and infant health and my desire to be of service to those who desire comfort, confidence and support during their birthing and postpartum journeys.
I consider it a privilege and honor to work with families as a Doula, and I am thrilled at the possibility of working with you.
My Approach & Values
What makes my services different? In addition to my Doula work, I am also a health and wellness coach. There is a huge opportunity to combine doula services and health coaching to help new parents feel strong and well as they navigate this new phase of life. As your Doula, authenticity, active listening, and respect for your autonomy are the foundations of my work.
